Cindy Wright
Modern Homesteader
I want to make
my own wine.
Plunder every grape's essence
With frisky toes.
Savor a blend
Of sun, winds whisking
over the prairie
and mountains grated by age
to fine dust
grains that anchor the flavor of
Oak in the barrels.
