Days Long Gone By
What ever happened were did we go? I long for
the days of not so long ago when people were
friendly and always said hello, If you were in trouble
they would stop and help , now they pretend not to
see or whisper it's not our problem best to not get
involved. Oh lord what ever happened were did we go
once manners were second nature now people look at
me strange as if being human is something to blame , Do you think there
are others like me sipping tea and writing Poetry? oh yes I think there are
many just like me burning potpourri and wondering is it me? Or maybe we
are just to nice do I dare say, Sensitive! to play the game No I say real we've
just stayed the same. So what ever happened were did you go? the other side
of humanity or do you come and go, Very lucky you are to have a heart not
to sensitive in this world you will! go far.
