Lost Eyes

Once watching from beyond the veil of this world and that I saw her smile.
Jaguar grin toothy and broad. Enchanting, drawing me closer
I beg her aid to guide me to the eternal youth realms of fae and frolicking wanderers
I pledge my body and ask her to devour me to take me into her
to drink my spirit deep
I walk in her padding paws, Fox feet follow along silent behind big cats grace.
Walk the path to beyond
I feel the shadows closing in upon my new sets of eyes. Allies rally as I face the fleeing Jaguar Woman.
Grey conquers colors as the world slithers.
Doubts rise to strike, body twist and grows, Artrow dances into my head.
Crow caws loud and stag leaps deep.
The battle engages upon the field of my soul.
Attacked by ambush, attacked by innocent eyes, Attacked by the enemy i fear most.
The slippery serpent entangles a fox much more slippery, grips falter when laughter erupts. Armor long
crafted in fear, falls away in delight, dissipates and frees my movement.
Attacks upon my heart freeze in the radiant defense of joy, of enlightenment of the craft of sly
trickery and the sun fills my soul.
The trek continues past the dark wood into the field of golden rod
Lying neath the plants caressed by sprites most divine, Nema and family protect me as we game and sing
and feast upon the mushrooms that grow think. Drink of the wine of berries that exist only here.
Drowns the wounds and other worlds away in a year and a day of learning.
The Path does call though and further still must I go. Knighting the sisters seven I walk on to find
my past, strewn before me like broken toys. A path to log long house housing spirits of my fathers and
mothers and myself from forever ago, wrapped together i see my heart in this house, I thank them and
place it deep in my pouch. To hold close in my soul.
I turn to return and see the new lands of my old world a new and refreshed through eyes enlightened.
