Last Week's Question - So, in a local elementary school parking lot I saw a space reserved for "Teacher of the Year." "That's nice," I thought. Right next to it was a space reserved for "Assistant of the Year." And sitting squarely in that spot was a Port-o-John. Now, this was a public school...but has education really sunk that low?

Your Answers -

Ian P - maybe his name is john.

Lillian O - Heh heh, I guess if corporate executive types get rewarded lavishly with their own private bathrooms, a port-o-potty would be the school board's "no-frills" equivalent. It's probably also their equivalent to an executive's having an actual office... because if I know teachers, the only time they get to spend in peace and quiet during the school day is on the toilet!

This Week's Question - A paint company has the slogan "Cover the Earth", followed by a picture of the globe being covered by red paint. What kind of slogan is that? It hardly seems environmentally friendly. Or maybe it's something even more subversive, such as a Socialist organization that is using the paint store as a front?
